National Partnerships

The Office of Library and Archives (OLA) works closely with key government agencies, academic institutions, and development partners within Papua New Guinea to enhance library and archival services nationwide.

Our National Partners Include:

  • Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) – for digital transformation and e-services.

  • Department of Education – for school library development and literacy programs.

  • National Research Institute (NRI) – for research collaboration and information sharing.

  • National Cultural Commission (NCC) – for cultural heritage preservation and awareness programs.

  • Provincial Governments – for establishing and supporting provincial libraries and archives centres.

  • Universities and Colleges – for training, research, and internship programs in library and information studies.
