NATIONAL BOOK WEEK

4th-8th August, 2025 | Central Province

This annual event takes place every year, to symbolize the importance of reading. It gives the OLA the opportunity to make awareness of a having a library, functions of the library and importance in reading a book. There is a NCD school quiz competition were invitations are given out to NCD schools to participate and win prizes and a shield for thier school. For this year the NCD School Quiz Competition winner was Jubilee Catholic Secondary School.

INTERNATIONAL ARCHIVES WEEK

 9th-13th June, 2025 | National Library & Archives

The International Archives Week is an annual event, run by the Archives staff. During this one week event, Archivst from other organizations come to present thier archival collections, displaying of the past archival records and many more fun activities.
